Vs Chorley
« on: August 19, 2017, 01:46:07 PM »
Is history repeating itself? It's 1345, and I've been told Chorley are stuck on the A1! If its true, what are the chances of it happening again?
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

John Bunyan, 1684

Very easy today, either Boston did a thoroughly professional job on Chorley or they were absolute dross, bit of both really, soon as second goal went in it was game over, looked pretty solid at back and look far more of a threat with tshimanga and waite, positive signs, onwards to FCUM.

onwards to FCUM.

Rearranged Spennymoor game at York Street is next up on Tuesday evening - assuming they can find a coach that doesn't break down half way.

Yep, Spennymoor, a bit of a sore point Ken, on a late shift, so if I can't swap will miss it, 13 quid down the drain through having a season ticket, FCUM next up for me.

  Promising result
As for loans, if you aint got a sugar daady you need them in a season , to cover suspensions and injuries .
If eg Magowan plays well , then why should Alf allow him to join Bufc I wonder

Much much better today. Now all we need is to find some consistency and we can climb to the upper reaches where we need to be come the end of the season.

Hardly - you can either say you pay less per game (£200 divided by 21 = ~£9.50 a game) or count it as one of the free games you get (£200 ~ 15 games at £13 each). You're not losing much by missing 1 game!

I love it, there's always somebody to do the maths. :)

:D, I know, did make me laugh, sums are wrong though, I paid £235 for season ticket, works out at £11.1904762905 per game, but hey what's a few digits, probably be able to make game anyway, so not losing out.

I based it on an early-bird terrace season ticket.

Interesting to note that the player who fouled Tschimanga Scott Leather was sent off for a similar offence in their previous game against Harrogate! Could that be the reason he was substituted to avoid another red card in successive games? Their manager says he was substituted for health reasons but it makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Which is also what Jansen said in a remarkably honest interview, complaining of a lack of team spirit this season. Would expect him to resign if they don't pick up a few wins soon.
