Maybe JD would have had more luck if he had trialled at a Club slightly lower than Yeovil. Three leagues higher is a big jump. Bit like going from trolley collector to check-out supervisor without having first spent time on the tills.

As it's been said about miller, every player with any aspiration (and talent) has to try and further themselves. It is a big jump but fair play to Dowie for trying, who says it wont happen for him next year. Good to see him back though, imo far more influential and more productive than say Hall who works equally hard
