I have copies of the Boston United Football Club Ltd and Lavaflow Ltd accounts if anyone's interested.

The debt isn't owed to Lavaflow, but the debt each year does seem to increase by roughly the loss we made the previous year. Presumably these are therefore Chairman's loans...? I know Nigel Doughty has the same accounting methods at Forest but doesn't expect the loan to be repayed.

Obviously the financial situation is always going to be a concern when we are reliant upon two good men to keep us afloat, but I think we can trust that the Chestnut's are doing their best to keep the club on the straight and narrow.

Chap called Andy Pilley I think. Blackpool fan who's invested a hell of a lot of money in FT. Chatting to a Blackpoo fan recently, told me he's just self funded a 4 million pound new stand.

Incidentally has a previous convinction for theft... hopefully they don't go the same way as us!

Coming up from london for the game. Wondered if anyone is likely to be heading for a beer before or after the game? I'll be all on my lonesome   :(

Miles said he'd have loved to have joined boston but he thinks we've already got the best strikers in the unibond, plus a few midfielders who push on, and with the offer he got he didn't think it likely he'd get a game.

Miles was at FC look quality but the step up not sure, a little lightweight for our league, Spayne rd would slaughter him.

Spoke to Miles, apparently we made a seven day approach a few weeks back for him but he hasn't heard anything since. He's not too optimistic now we've signed spence.

He failed to mention he turned it down then, Thats from out of sleaford town fc

Yep.... well this is exactly what he said.

"yeah mate, well they put 7 days in for me, but then i havnt heard anything from them, and i think theyve just signed another striker from lincoln city or notts forest or something, so i dont think theyll be calling. "

As a forest season ticket holder i've seen a fair bit of spence. He certainly had potential but seems to have lost his way a fair bit. Had a couple of good loan spells out but never really did it when he signed for notts.

Unfortunately i can't compare him to our current strikers as i still haven't managed to make a bloody game this season!

One of Nathan Abbey's finest hours if I remember correctly...... I think word was just getting around regarding his dalliances with a certain someones spouse.... :o

I love these rumours! Wish i made it to more games so i actually understood all the nudge nudge wink wink!

Played uni football with Miles, and Temi who also plays down there.

Miles is rapid but his finishing can be a bit hit and miss. Played England schoolboys back in the day, and as Pilgrim86 said used to be on the books at York St!
