And what a great time to score it!
He was having his shirt pulled, being kicked all through the game.
Glad he had last laugh

NFU should be ashamed of the physical tactics tonight, but if the refs letting it go.....

True ,  with a mug of a ref letting them get away with it who can blame them .

It's a shame he was so weak. He needed some balls to stand up to them, but when he didn't, they certainly took advantage.

Similar story to last season with an inexperienced ref taking the Boston v Chorley play off and not giving our players any protection from persistent fouls. For James Dean read Tom Denton.  Surely the play-off fixtures should be awarded to the best refs over the course of a season?  It should be a reward for the officials as well, just like handling a cup final.

I'm not given to criticising refs as it's a difficult enough job, but I must confess to being bewildered by last night's performance. There was no consistency. Similar incidents seemed to be awarded one moment to the attacker and the next to the defender. He needed to stamp out certain things early on, but that didn't happen and led to the later mayhem.

Anyway, well done BUFC in standing up to intimidation and gaining an important lead.

Apparently they DO choose the best refs for the Play Offs. I'd rather they maybe spend a bit more, and bring in refs from higher leagues.

If he was supposed to be one of the best the rest must be considered absolute shite, but then, we've witnessed that most of the season.

We need that lass back, she stood up to intimidating players and never bottled the big decision.. How the hell Denton only saw yellow when he clearly came in from the side watching the player and then took him out with his elbow I will never know, his assistant was nearest too it and should have had a word but he too bottled it.... Stevie Wonder couldn't have been any worse.. They only had too scream when we tackled them and it was a free kick.. how can a shirt pull be a yellow and therefore in same class as an elbow? .. Just hope we get a stronger ref on Sunday cos boy they are going to be diving for everything..

Lincoln supporting relative does NOT want Ferriby manager in charge after hearing about them last night lol
