Ryan Semple's volley from the other year ought to be mentioned somewhere in this thread. I think it was against Blyth Spartans and that we won the game 5-0. Alan White was definitely playing for the opposing team.

Arthur Hukin v Bath City 8th November 1958.

Bugger, missed that one by 10 years and 8 days!

The best I've seen away from home for sure.

Paul Cavell scored an unusual goal from near the touchline a few years ago.
I can't remember who we were playing but it appeared to be a long range overhead kick that somehow went in  :o

Just watched Bore's goal on the video...Wow what a hit.  I thought SWD looked well up for it as well.

Looking at the video again I counted nine other players that ran across the pitch to congratulate Bore. I thought that showed togetherness in the squad as well as being testimony to the quality of the goal. Strangely the player I didn't spot in the celebrations was the captain, Ian Ross.

Mark Rawle at home against Nuneaton in 2000-1. Or Lee Thompson's first away at Darlo in 2002-3, a goal I mainly remember for my mate saying "what a goal" before I even realised it had gone in...

Maidstone United at home in 82 - a brace of half-way line crackers. I each from Dave Adamson & Paul Bartlett.
I vaguely remember their keeper being Dickie Guy.

Mark Rawle seems to feature quite bit, but the one that sticks in my mind is the one he got at Tamworth. (probably because I was in the perfect position, behind the goal, but off-centre)

So many memorable goals over the years, but two I particularly remember from the mid 80s are Paul Casey (v Kiddy?) with a screamer into the top corner from similar distance to Bore but wide on the right - I was right behind the line of the ball and it was in all the way; and Mick Czuczman (v Scarboro?) about 40 yards out, hard and low into the bottom corner
Oh and Joachim's first goal for us v Stockport - beautiful controlled volley as the ball dropped over his shoulder in pouring rain - quality!

There's one I remember from Neil Redfern I cannot for the life of me remember who it was against.  All I recall was him picking the ball up 20+ yards out , stunned silence goalkeeper looks around , big cheer ...pick ball out of net ...boy could he hit a ball hard  :)
