I was not at game so interested on what you saw.

Two players challenging for the ball, ended up falling on top of each other. Bit of grappling as each tried to prevent the other from getting up. Ref didn't even stop the game, let alone award a foul. Six of one and half a dozen of the other, no big deal.

Yep, played well until he appeared to be targeted/ head butted. Hot headed, but a good player, like many over the years.

Held Chorley player down after penalty save and was subsequently kicked. He had already been yellow carded, so game over. Funny how it's always him.

I know he is "annoying". He annoys me. We lost at Darlington as a result of his early dismissal. The fact remains he is the only member of our squad who can intimidate the opposition, and mean it. I honestly believe every team needs a "Middleton" to prosper. He has got a screw loose, but than can be managed.

If you speak to him he's a really nice, calm lad. Clearly just get's really fired up when he puts on the amber and black. I like that.

Apparently (according to Twitter ) talking to two centre backs to cover for Middleton, one on loan and one with a view to a permanent move. I wonder if one of them is Scott Garner?

i heard on Saturday a current Cambridge utd centre back but i wasn't given a name

Garner, playing centreback at a teal close to relegation. Never rated him
But could score more goals in a season than most the strikers we've had this season .

Garner would be a welcome addition to the squad.
Middleton was having a great game until the inevitable. He looked class bringing the ball out through centre midfield at one point, but he'll be seeing a lot of red unfortunately :police:

Current, or former Cambridge defender? Our scout was at Kings Lynn on Saturday, and Rory McAuley plays for them.

Garner would be a very good signing in my opinion, been around this league and the one above for a while. Some experience is always welcome!
