United Live! The critical comments filter is on today!
« on: April 21, 2012, 03:55:12 PM »
Don't worry Utd, you won't have to worry about me or plenty of others clogging Craig's inbox up with 'off message' comments much longer........

Hope you don't miss our money too much either next season.

Fair comments about the re-appointment of the manager and the lack of application of the players over the past few weeks were blocked and yet the happy clappers banalities are published........and I thought North Korea took censorship a little far!

Here's a question for Dave Newton to ponder;
How many clubs at our level employ so many full time staff? Is there any need for quite so many? Remember folks, its these wages that eat into the playing budget and deprive us of better players........

Perhaps if you think DN should fire a few full time staff you should speak to him.  He might tell you why he hasn't done that.  I don't get the impression he grew his busines on the back of charity.

You're right NF, just tried to put (a tongue in cheek) negative comment, not been shown yet!!

I've put a critical one on and it went straight up!

So it's not all one way traffic.

How many fulltime staff are there?

I can only think of 3. Craig, John and Maureen.

I hardly think that BUFC are going to publish comments undermining the manager through their own official coverage... Nor should they, there should be visible lines between the output of official sources and the fans, anything other than that is tinpot and makes us look like Gainsborough.

If you all read the 'cost of running a football club' link to Hyde supporters, maybe you will understand why you just can't afford to bring in expensive players. I for one wish to keep having a club to support. For all the money Gainsborough have put into them via Wilko's, their team were not any better than we were as attractive football goes.

Just a moment Tony, you haven't read my post......

I've never advocated breaking the bank on players.

I just want the manager to go out and scout for better, affordable players.

However, I doubt he has the ability.

Although I support the re-appointment, NF has a point.  The biggest test of Jason Lee's abilites will be the squad he assembles this summer within our budget.  I remain optimistic and I think we should reserve our judgements until he's had the chance to do this.

I've got no faith in JL! But "what do to expect for £150 a week". Well Jason a lot better than we've seen this season!

it would be nice to see the live text commentary rather than all the repetitive negative crap that some 'supporters' decide to clog up the United Live service

Well it appears Baz had a real mare (and should be replaced ) , the ref was a homer and we had a player sent off .
Bit like the reverse of when we beat Granfum to get out of DocMartens  all those years ago  . .
Re United LIve . . foreseeing such 'problems' , I just mentioned I was rebuilding my PC .
         It got posted .
