I'm assuming both will start - Williams in the midfield, pushing Sleath either out wide or onto the bench, and Robinson in at left-back.

Good signings perhaps but where are the players who will create and score the goals that win the games.
I'm not the only one who gets pissed off with the predictabe subs. Why do they keep persisting with Davison he's a joke, no wonder Suarez left having to play second fiddle to that donkey. Boyd seems quality but the together with SWD they need better service. The gap between the chasing pack is shortening fast.

Agree that we need to provide more for the forwards, but the addition of two defensive type players should release others to surge forward and create those chances. We may still need to add a creative midfielder,i think we still stand a good chance of the playoffs, but as a club are we really ready for conference football or do we need another season.
At the end who cares we have a club being run professionally and will take our place in the conference sooner or later

We could always hope that our balls to the front could be lacking as the midfeild have been sitting deep to sheild our rag tag back 4, I think sat we could just say that not many balls got throu to the front becouse thats where telford was stopping them.

I don't dispute that all players at YS at present are capable of good performances .. but they need to be available as much as possible..
The smaller the squad thus the more this should be . .
I would have to point the finger at one central defender  in particular who has had more than his fair share of injuries .
Maybe the new signings will  alleviate that deficit ..

It's not a certain player's fault if he is injured is it? I don't think they would choose to be.

Pointing your finger , make sure you dont injure it you knob. If your referring to Murphy the young man should be applauded . He played against Eastwood with a fractured foot which has probably cost him an extra month on the sidelines.

I  welcome you to disagree . .  but no  need for personal insults .
I HAVE already stated that all current signings can be very good  on their day .
Sadly if someone has an embedded injury (s) . . he is unavailable to play . . at what could be crucial times .
Once again I (we on here ) welcome civilised disagreement .

What a small world.  :o

Mr Darren Williams was the star player in my school team 20 years ago! How old does that make me feel...... Had lots of talent as a midfield player, but unfortunately acquired the utility player tag so never established himself in any one position, though played premiership with Sunderland, not easy for a Middlesbrough boy!
