Jordan Fairclough

Do they actually watch the game?

Sometimes when you hear these MOM announcements it does seem like they've pulled a name out of a hat.

Weren't many contenders, to be fair.  Maybe they meant to give it to Jordan's dad (a true Forest legend) - think I saw him under the main stand after the match?

Why? For me he played quite well, in fact I think he has improved vastly from the first game I saw him in pre-season

So do I, but I think he tries too hard to win the match on his own, but I wish some of the others would put in as much effort.

When I ask the sponsors for their m.o.m. towards the end of the game, I am often thinking 'what match have you been watching?'

But, to put it into perspective, there is usually only one of the sponsors who are real fans, the one paying the money, and the rest are guests.

So, you can only think that the sponsors pay the money, they make the choice.

For me, Gareth just edged the m.o.m. and it was never going to be a forward  on Saturday, but I keep my thoughts to myself at the time, but I must agree, the sponsors do come up with some strange choices sometimes.
