Hi just checked Craig's twitter site and the team for tonight includes a player called Clayton. Anyone got any ideas who it might be? ???

Read somewhere that work commitments may mean he has to relocate and won't be able to play for us. Will be a shame but our loss may be someone elses gain. good luck to him whatever but hope that he will be staying put.  ???

yes it sounded like we just get any momentum going possibly nerves told in the end. The Marine management had done their homework and had been on a good run. The signs were there when they beat Guiseley last week. Lets get behind the lads on Tuesday we would have been happy with the play offs at the start of the season. Come on Pilgrims!!!!!

Showed my dad this photo yesterday and he remembers the team as follows:-

Duthoit
Fisher
Bloxham
Smith
Lowden
Freeman
Hall
Kurz( possibly front row holding the ball)
Wheeler
Lowder
Not sure if this helps.

Just to let you know Butch is apparently doing a great job coaching goalkeepers of the future here in Lincoln for our local club. According to the club chairman all the kids love him so he is passing on his skills to the next generation.

Would have to agree with all that has been said here. We looked solid at the back and I thought Woody had one of his best games for us. I also thought Jamie Yates gave us something extra today , he is obviously getting more match fit. Lets hope there is more to come :)

I have to agree with most of what has been said already. I thought today Suarez looked a yard short, whether it was that whack to the head he got at the start of the game I don't know! at least Scott had the honesty to say they need to look at things and come up with a strategy to break teams down at home. personally I think Matt Kennedy looks like opening teams up when he plays. Cotton should but he seems to sit deep. We definitely need to get some wide play going but lets keep positive we play Durham soon, should be a goal fest!!!!!

Did anybody else see our managers get angry and take it out on the dugout and water bottles. They obviously were expecting better. Also I would not have wanted to be sat with the players on the pitch at the end as Scott was really letting them have it. Yes we have high expectations but as Scott said on the radio we have to give them time to gel and they won't settle for second best. Let's get behind them there is a long way to go. Well done today lads :)

Just got back, only short drive from Lincoln for me. First half they were on top, it was a defensive mix up for our goal. Good strike to equalise for them. Second half we looked a lot more assured and Suarez took his goal well. Their second goal was straight from the corner, sailed over Butch's head. Overall a good solid performance. Well done lads. ;)

If that is correct then well done to H&S. He was quality when we played in the league and I for one am getting more and more optimistic about the new season.
