Hello to everybody!
Inspired by the topic ''York Street Memories - games'', I'd like to know what players of the last 15 seasons you liked the most: not only players that leaved a mark (most prolific scorers, best defenders, etc.) but also the ones who became fans favourites for their background, behaviour, etc. (ex: Academy products) or others.
You can choose a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 22 (reserves of the XI). :)
Here's my selection (based mostly on stats and comments of the past), still with some doubts:
..........................Bastock
(Haystead/Evans)
........Pearson...Ellender...White
(Piergianni)(Canoville)(Garner/Mills)
.....Hemmings..Talbot..Church..N'Guessan
(Rollins)(Ross)(Rowan)(McCann)
.........Newsham...Joachim...Southwell
(Elding/O.Ryan)(Kirk)(Weir-Daley)

Good questions, am only a teenager so only remember the last 7-10 years.
For me:
McKeown
Mills, Pidge, Pearson, Steer
Church, Sleath, G.Roberts (maybe controversial)
Rollins, Southwell, Miller

White
Howell Pidge Ellender Canonville
Rollins Jim Smith Church
Svarc Froggatt Kirk

1 Stryczek ... never lost a Pilgrims game inside 90 minutes
2 Mills ... would always give 100% and a decent touch
3 Steer ... best attacking left back for many seasons
4 Church ... every engine room needs a hard worker
5 Garner ... great partner to my next choice
6 Piergianni ... quality defending and attacking set pieces
7 Felix ... blistering pace and a nightmare for any left back
8 Newsham ... 100+ goals, no other reason needed
9 Southwell ... we probably had him at his best, but when he was good, he was good
10 Thewlis ... early days, but quality on the ball and a lethal finisher
11 Miller ... same reason as Southwell
12 Weir-Daley ... another goal machine
14 Sleath ... did the ugly stuff brilliantly
15 Pearson ... quality defender
16 Ellender ... stood tall and tackled hard
GK McKeown ... a proper all round modern keeper

Bastock
Canoville
Ellender
Pierganni
Chapman
Maylett
Redfearn
Noble
Angel
Clare
Miller
Subs:
C. Logan
Mills
L. Thompson
Rusk
Joachim
As often as I hear everyone speak so high of Church, I didn't watch many matches during his time, so annoyingly I never saw him play more than one or two games. He's one of the ones that standout as someone I wish I'd seen properly.
