At the start of the season he looked real quality didn't he, but the more appearances he made, the lower the consistency of his perfomances seemed to get, and the effort and total lack of committiment shown last week was just unacceptable, and I dont think his departure will come as a surprise to many.
Will his departure free up funds to strengthen as Shauneyg suggests? imo very doubtful, at best it probably helps balance the books a bit, but cant honestly see DG having any squad strengthening funds available until Timms and or Mills gets released from the pay roll

IT was D.GREENE who said TIMMS was by far the best keeper in this leage sadly our management could not get the best out of him or MILLS. (I still think TIMMS and MILLS are good for the club)

All seems to have a gone quiet on the Timms news.

Still listed as a player on the squad page of the official  website.

Surely someone would take him on loan?

"Timms and Mills ( I presume you are talking about G Mills ) are good for the club" What planet are you on? I also saw your post saying you were glad Saturdays game was postponed, this following posts including mine about travelling all the way there for nothing. Please start thinking before writing such rubbish.

WE were not ready to take on HISTON or anyone else for that matter IMO.
and I still say MILLS and TIMMS can do a job for us.

Mills is not gonna be fit enough to make a difference and I think we have better options in midfield. Timms will never play for us again that's obvious. I hope we can strengthen a little for second half of season but doubt budget will allow this. Hope I'm wrong.

Anyone know how Mills got on at King's Lynn ?

Greene must have seen something in him to sign him in the first place. Maybe he just hasn't been able to get the best out of him yet ?

After the Boxing Day match I was hoping Miller would be fit before we played Histon again. Timms is BUFC history, never seen Mills play this season so no comment  :-\

Spent most of his time at Lynn injured. Bad signing im afraid very injury prone prior to signing.

shauney g i think you just have something against him, he seems a professional mills does, doesnt moan about going out on loan and prior to getting back in the squad recently had been going and watching the team such as he was at staylbridge and was there on boxing day, so i think given the chance he may be an experienced player we may come to need.

As for Timms i am disappointed there hasnt been a club statement or something keeping the fans in the loop about Timms because somebody has to see sense and not just let him sit there and collect his wages and waste our budget, but i havent seen him watching any matches!
