Loan Players
« on: March 16, 2011, 02:31:31 PM »
With Williams and Robinson returning to Gainsborough that must mean the loan period for Austin,Green and Darley is about to exspire. Austen has been a rock in defence, green has shown flashes of brilliance, Darley has not really featured to much.
Question is do we still need them for the team?

id love to keep green and austin, i would say we need darley for cover in the centre, im sure the loan window shuts soon so managers will have to make some decisions!

With the Gainsborough pair returning to their parent club i think we need to keep the three we still have. All three have done well and it would leave the squad very thin at a crucial time of the season were they to leave.

Darley hasnt featured much but he comes in handy, when he came on against moors the other week he played a key part throu the middle just stopping them getting it forward to quick

Williams and Robinson were average players at best and not as good as our other options although were useful to cover injuries. Personally I think we need to keep the other three as all have played very well. Without them we only have 15 of our players including Murphy who has been out for months and Hunter who has been offered a job in Scotland.

Green, Darley and Austin were all signed on one month loans - these must all be up this week.  Does anyone know if we will be keeping some or all of them for any longer?

I'd like to see us keep all three - Darley hasn't played as much as the others, but he is good cover for Church & Sleath.

Green and Darley are extending their loans this week, but unsure on Austin - depends on Darlington.

2 and a half out of 3 sounds positive pilgrim 86. Even if we bring in players of the same quality they would still need time to settle in which is what we don't have at this time of the season.
