Thanks to JB for all the hard work for our club over so many seasons. Grand gesture by the directors to offer John the Club Presidency.  Assume Maureen stepping down too,so huge thanks to her as well-- always friendly & helpful. Enjoy your retirement both.

Boston legend. JB has given it all and then some. Time for Craig to take over all admin next season?

Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

But can he play football. We need someone big and strong up front. Doesn't need to be able to score, just win the ball for Southwell.

Looks like BUFC has made an appointment with the construction and housing side of its business model in mind as opposed to the footballing side of the business. Time to get a positive result tonight to celebrate a positive appointment in Mike Hardy?

Evidently new CEO Mr Hardy was in the 'care homes' business . .
Wondering exactly what skills he will add to BUFC management ?

We have to accept that BUFC/Chestnuts is not purely a footballing business. It's main priority is the construction of The Quadrant. The footballing side will survive in whatever League it plays in - hopefully soon at a new stadium albeit possible short term ground share at Tattershall Road. Martin Hardy is a successful Managing Director of a Social Housing Business so his appointment makes business sense.
