Paul Hurst joins the Millers
« on: March 01, 2010, 06:17:43 PM »
Rotherham United have appointed former Miller Paul Hurst as the Community Sports Trust's new Participation Officer.

I know his position with BUFC is only part time but do you think this in anyway could be a disadvantage for us?

Question for tomorrow night I'd suggest but I doubt it'll be too much of a problem if at all.  I think I read somewhere he is a teacher so linking up with schools should be easy enough.

Possible conflict of interest?

What if he see's a good lad, does he ask him to go to Rotherham or Boston for trials?

Suppose it depends if the lad is capable of going pro or not I suppose.  We're quite a way apart so it could work out if we get Rotherham wonder kids on loan or knock offs
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

At the age it seems he's going to be looking at, it won't matter, due to the 90 minutes' travelling rule...
