Another Youth team win!
« on: November 18, 2016, 07:46:06 PM »
A good win for Bunny and the boys beating Chasetown Youth team 2-1 this afternoon at York Street in the National League U-19 Alliance Cup. A hard fought game with both keepers in the thick of it. Another good cup run beckons this season? I hope so!
Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

interesting KON...
do you watch Bunnys Babes and have you seen the boy from Posh.??
you have to assume that being on the brink of a team a few divisions higher he is showing more ability etc.
or are you just being naughty again ? :)

Do you think Den or the scout has seen the Posh lad? Personally I think den has got desperate and just loaned him.I thought there was 2 signings on the way with the "extra budget".

.

Answer the questions kon.  Do you watch Bunnys Babes and have you seen the boy from Posh?
Or, more likely, are you just being naughty again?

Posh have a fantastic academy... I bet you (KON) were complaining when we signed Dion-Curtis Henry a few months ago!

The scout went to watch a player last week with regards to signing him..maybe he went to watch Posh U18s?

Could be a good pointer !    I recall another DG "fan"  earlier in the season saying that the DG signing of Gregg Smith was a desperate knee-jerk reaction ,   that,s worked out OK .

Fantastic Academy reflected by their league position? Bottom of the league. Not a signing but a loan.If you lot are happy with the bullshit then good luck to you!

Peterborough are 5th in Div 1, so it makes them a rubbish club then does it?

Fantastic Academy reflected by their league position?

Nope. An academy is judged by the players brought through.

Our youth team under Welsh never did well in the league, but did alright in the Youth Cup and several players made their 1st team debuts. Posh currently have a 17 year old in their 1st team, who is probably going to be sold within 12 monhts for about £3m...
