5 - 3 up! :o
-
4-5 with about a minute to go :D

Well done lads, a very good result.
A bit nervous at the end but a win is a win.
-
The win is the most important...3 points whether its 10 0 or 1 0.
Also a confidence boost..
Hopefully clean sheets etc will follow

Gutted I missed it. Mind you I saw Evans last game in charge at Posh instead :)

Sounded like an incredible game! When we score first we mostly win, but they sure did it the hard way today. It's good to hear they never gave up and held on. And in what is a bonkers season we find ourselves 4 points from the playoffs, and as the only game in our league in midweek is our rearranged trip to Spennymoor, it could be as little as 1 solitary point by next weekend. Crazy, crazy season.

Disgraceful performance conceding 4 goals really is not good enough had we not taken our chances we would have lost. That's my report for the snowflakes on here.
Right here we go, As in the last three games the lads gave 100% and the goals were outstanding in both quality and endeavor, first class passing and when needed going in where it hurts. When they pulled it back to 3 all heads could have gone down but we steadied the ship working hard, Then came the master stroke from our manager, young Max had clearly been watched by their scouting team and was man marked from the very first minute. Craig took him off and replaced him with Nicky but playing down the left believe me that left their man marker wandering around not knowing what to do. and when Gav was replaced the big defenders couldn't cope with our little speedy players and instead of hanging on we took the game to them and were worthy winners. Please everyone get down next week these lads are beginning to get it together and if we support them we could make the play offs. UTP

Good report Mel..
Signing Nicky Butt went unnoticed :)

I decided to pop over to Guiseley this afternoon rather than run round Pontefract racecourse in the Northern Athletics Cross Country Championships. Turned out to be a good decision. I took my camera so there's the usual little public photo album over on Facebook:

Not allowed to give my opinion about midfielders on here.

Re Working man's Ballet. I thought out manager was Craig Elliott, not Billy Elliott ;) ;)

Delighted but not surprised. The fitter Jay gets, the better team we are. I was chuffed for Gittens. The young man made a boo-boo last week, but comes back this week with a diving header for the 5th goal. That gave us the cushion we needed as we conceded yet again in the last minute. That habit has cost us at least 7 points and possibly more. As for Spennymoor, if they picked up any injuries yesterday they will make sure the pitch is unplayable on Tuesday.
P.S. Talking of injuries, Ricky Miller almost amputated a Carlisle player's legs at Port Vale yesterday and got a red card for his efforts.
